Camosun College is CLOSED, Feb. 4, 2025

Tuesday, Feb. 4, 6:30am 鈥 Camosun鈥檚 campuses are CLOSED on Feb. 4 due to heavy snowfall and challenging road conditions being reported throughout the region. All classes and services will be closed for the day.

Students and employees are encouraged to stay warm, keep safe and avoid travel if possible.

Shivinder (she/her) is a Registered Nurse who has and continues to work in mental health with children and youth in the South Vancouver Island region. She has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) where her research aimed to bring a strengths-based perspective to understanding health of marginalized groups, specifically sexual and gender minority women who had attempted suicide.

She is also currently doing her PhD in nursing.聽In her role with Camosun, Shivinder is involved in teaching first and third year students in both clinical and classroom settings. She is passionate about supporting students in achieving their learning goals and creating a nurturing, engaging, and reflexive learning environment. Outside of work, Shivinder loves to spend time outside in nature. You can find her walking, hiking, or just drinking coffee outside with her partner and dog on the weekend!
