Camosun College will welcome 160 Grade 5 students, giving Victoria's next generation a firsthand look at post-secondary possibilities through hands-on learning experiences.

Students from and will visit Camosun's Interurban campus on April 28 and 30, respectively, from 9:30am - 1:30pm.
Through the generosity of community partners and donors, students will experience an immersive four-hour program, complete with transportation and lunch, at no cost to families or schools.
During their visit, students will explore various programs through interactive demonstrations. Highlights include programming robots in the Computer Science lab, participating in hands-on business activities in the School of Business, joining in team-building activities in the Sport Management department, and trying their hand at pipe fitting in the Trades department. They'll also experience the state-of-the-art facilities in the School of Health Sciences and Human Services, where they'll interact with a pediatric simulation robot.
"Some of these kids might never have thought about college before," says Larry Chung, Marketing instructor at Camosun's School of Business. "We chose these schools specifically because we want students from every part of Victoria to see themselves here. When they try welding a pipe or programming a robot, college suddenly becomes real to them."
Young visitors will spend time with current 69成人电影网, faculty, and staff who will share their own educational experiences and career paths. Each Grade 5 student will also receive a custom "Future Grad" t-shirt, inspiring them to envision their own future in post-secondary education.
